CCPA: What Marketers Need to Know
Join us for the first Beer + Learn of 2020 as we bring in our friends from Asureti to talk about the newly implemented California Consumer Protection Act. Almost two years ago, GDPR up-ended the conversation around what marketers could—and couldn’t—do with their digital marketing. Although GDPR's teeth seemed sharpest for marketers who were active in Europe, stateside marketers were left wondering how long before something like it would come to the U.S. Enter the California Consumer Protection Act. This Act, which went into effect this year, should be an eye-opener for marketers in the U.S., whether or not they are actively marketing to consumers in California. In this Beer + Learn, David Cacioppo of emfluence Digital Marketing and Neil Watkins of Asureti will cover what the legislation includes and how marketers should prepare for this new legislation.
